Jagannath Gupta Institute of Medical Sciences and Hospital (JIMSH) is a celebrated multi-specialty hospital and medical college in Budge Budge, Kolkata. Founded in 2016, JIMSH aims to train pupils to become medical healers who possess adroit medical knowledge and compassion to serve humanity. JIMSH has received recognition from the Medical Committee of India (MCI) and is affiliated with the West Bengal University of

JIMSH offers prominent medical courses like MBBS, PG (MD/MS), BSc Nursing, GNM, Paramedical, and DNB. However, admission for all the above-said courses depends on the results of the entrance test. As per the academic session 2023-2024, JIMSH provides 200 seats for MBBS, 100 for both GNM & BSc Nursing, and 130 for Paramedical. Admission
JIMSH provides medical courses for undergraduate, postgraduate, paramedical, and diploma. However, one must clear NEET UG for MBBS admission and the admission to MD/MS course depends on the result of NEET PG. A student’s score in the Joint Entrance Exam decides the admission process to BSc Nursing at JIMSH. For GNM and Paramedical courses, a candidate must qualify for HSC or equivalent examination.
For JIMSH MBBS Admission:
- To secure direct MBBS admission at JIMSH, candidates have to register and sit for the NEET-UG exam conducted by NTA.
- Depending on the NEET-UG scores, aspirants need to get involved in the counseling process for both WB State Quota and Pvt. Management Quota and need to register on the website of WBMCC.
- Next, the aspirants are required to do the choice-based filling and choice-locking so that the seats can be allotted accordingly.
